About SattvaTIE
At SattvaTIE, we believe fitness isn’t just about strength, technique, or results—it’s about feeling safe, seen, and supported. We’re on a mission to transform gyms across the UK into spaces where everyone can thrive, no matter their history, body, or experience.
I’m Kim Gray, founder of SattvaTIE. I’m a qualified educator and fitness professional, and I’ve spent over 20 years working with people—both in classrooms and in gyms. Through my own experiences, including as a post-natal client navigating injuries and stress, I saw the gap between professional standards in education and what’s expected in fitness. That inspired me to create SattvaTIE: a training provider dedicated to bringing trauma-informed practices into fitness.
Our courses translate complex neuroscience and evidence-based trauma frameworks into practical, ethical guidance for fitness professionals. We teach instructors how to recognise stress and trauma responses, communicate safely, and create environments where clients feel empowered to move and engage.
SattvaTIE isn’t just a training provider—we’re a team of educators, coaches, and advocates who care deeply about the people behind the workouts. We work with gyms, studios, and fitness teams to help them embed trauma-informed practices at every level. Our vision is simple: trauma-informed fitness becomes the standard, not the exception.
When you work with SattvaTIE, you’re not just upskilling your team—you’re creating a gym culture where people return, feel included, and thrive. Because real progress in fitness happens when people feel truly safe and supported.
